Cancellation & Refund Policy

1. Order Initiation and Payment Authorization
When a customer places a print request through the PrintNear platform, the order amount is temporarily authorized (held) by our payment gateway partner, Razorpay. The funds are not permanently debited or settled until the designated print partner shop reviews and explicitly accepts the order.
2. Order Rejection & Automatic Voidance
If a print partner shop rejects an order (due to file format mismatch, clarity issues, paper out-of-stock, or structural operational closure), the authorized hold is immediately released and voided by PrintNear.
Because the funds were never fully captured, the hold will drop from the customer's account instantly or revert according to their banking institution's standard timelines (typically 1 to 3 business days). No cancellation fees apply for shop-rejected orders.
3. Customer-Initiated Cancellations
Customers may cancel their print order directly from the user application, provided that the print shop has not yet accepted the order or commenced physical printing execution. Once a print shop accepts the order and digital/physical preparation begins, customer-initiated cancellations are strictly unavailable, and refunds will not be issued.
4. Quality Discrepancies & Fulfillment Issues
Since PrintNear acts as a technology platform connecting users to independent local shops, the ultimate responsibility for print execution, binding, scaling, and clarity lies with the selected shop partner.
However, customer satisfaction is critical. If a print job is fundamentally flawed (e.g., completely illegible text, wrong paper size delivered, or missing pages), the user must report the grievance within 24 hours of pickup/delivery. PrintNear will investigate the dispute with the vendor, and if verified, a partial or full refund will be processed directly back to the original source payment account within 5-7 business days.
